Risk Governance Forum

In today’s complex business landscape, the ability to manage risk effectively is more critical than ever. Recognising this, the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD), in collaboration with EY Mauritius, has established the Risk Governance Forum (RGF).

The RGF aims to equip business leaders and risk management professionals with the insights and tools necessary to anticipate, manage, and mitigate risks effectively. The RGF serves as a pivotal resource for developing robust strategies to better address financial, technological, environmental, and regulatory risks.

Objectives of the RGF:

  • Knowledge Sharing: The Forum provides access to the latest research, tools, and case studies, enabling members to stay ahead of risk management trends.
  • Best Practices: By highlighting and disseminating best practices, the RGF helps members implement effective risk management strategies that align with global standards.
  • Expert Collaboration: The RGF facilitates dialogue and cooperation among risk management experts, offering bespoke advice and strategies tailored to the unique needs of each sector.

Through regular workshops, seminars, and networking events, the RGF fosters a community of practice among risk management professionals, encouraging a proactive approach to governance challenges and risk management. The RGF was set up with the support of its Founding Members: CIEL Group, MUA Mauritius & East Africa, Innodis Group, UBP Group, MCB Group, RHT Holding Ltd, Cim Finance, ABC Banking Corporation, Leal Group, Currimjee Group, and Alteo Group.
